From a global hub for finance, the UK has been keen to establish itself as a hub for tech companies, too. The government was swift to secure deals with AI-facing companies over the last couple of years, and now, that’ll all come together with the highly anticipated AI Live: The London Summit 2026.
This inaugural meeting of over 2,000 global leaders will take place at Olympia London on 20 to 21 October. The all-in tech showpiece event will be of great interest to business heads across the board, particularly those riding the wave of adoption for live streaming.

Live streaming has become a very popular corner of entertainment and beyond over the last five or so years, giving rise to many new businesses and sectors around the world. Of course, there are dedicated live-streaming platforms and social media sites that let you go live to an audience and allow audiences to watch in real time.
Beyond those, live streaming is being leveraged by businesses to offer much more interactive experiences. The top online casino platforms, for example, have vast collections of live-streamed games. These table games and game shows stream the action live to players on their devices, accept bets in real time, the host plays through, and then any winners see their balances topped up accordingly.
You can see a similar thing occur in what looks to be the arrival of live shopping. Very much up-and-coming or bubbling under the surface for years, Whatnot earning its $20 billion valuation has certainly helped to put this new format of eCommerce on the map in western markets.
With such high demand and live streamers looking to get ahead across different sectors, AI has been earmarked as a potential tool that could enhance the experience. On paper, you’d expect that it could automatically enhance video, monitor interactive features, or dynamically switch between cameras and camera angles as is appropriate.

This October, AI Live: The London Summit 2026 looks to set a new bar for future-tech conferences in the British capital. The epic Olympia London will showcase the next era of technology powered by artificial intelligence, as well as what the next era of human purpose may look like. It’s exhibitions, conferences, and a great chance to network.
Despite being its first entry, AI Live is already listed as having over 2,000 people in attendance, over 50 expert speakers set to take to the stage over its two days, and there will be ten content themes to explore. Being designed for C-suite executives, the massive event will also have four executive workshops to help people wrangle this surging tech.
Central to the showcase is said to be the Immersive AI Experience, which will be complete with interactive showcases, live demonstrations, and environments that allow for hands-on activities that bring AI’s impact to life. For anyone looking to dive into this dizzying array of AI demonstrations, you can find tickets onlinefrom £295.
Of course, AI Live isn’t the only AI-focussed event that’s come to London or will be on the way. From 4 to 5 November, the Future of AI Summit 2026, put on by the Financial Times, will showcase its views on the future of the tech, and in June next year, the tenth edition of The AI Summit London will return to Tobacco Dock.
AI Live looks to power up the tech and businesses looking the use the tech from London this October. Among those in attendance might just be executives working in or seeking to leverage live streaming to a greater degree.
